I shouldn't wait so long after reading a book to write a review, so I do hope I give the book the justice it deserves.  I picked a copy up from my local library.

I will give you two words, that by the end of this book, will have your heart in shreds. Pear seed. I can't look at one the same again and on one hand, that means the author really affected me with her story and on the other hand, I wish the author would give a particular character a break. I do hope the author finds it in her heart to give that character a happily ever after in United: An Alienated Novel.

Okay, back to my review. This was a great follow up to the first book in the trilogy, Alienated. You were able to feel the emotions of the different characters in their whole new surroundings. Longing, despair, hope, hurt, love, betrayal and so much more. We learn so much more about the L'eihr; their traditions, their structure, their everyday life, and the possibility of their lineage. Secrets galore are kept hidden and some of them will have your jaw dropping, while others aren't so surprising.

I look forward to the final book in this trilogy, which comes out August 2016. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for the characters and readers alike. A great read for young teens and adults. What will the future bring for Cara and Aelyx. What is in store for their friends and family? What is in store for the future of both worlds?
