I held her thighs tighter, my fingers digging into the silk material, but the contact wasn't enough. I wanted more. I needed to feel her skin, touch her body, feel her clench around me as I rocked into her over and over. I wanted to watch her cheeks blush when she came. I wanted to make her lose control. I wanted her begging for more.

When I walked out, I almost turned back around. Ginger looked at me as though she’d been starved, which she probably was. She'd only eaten half her salad.

Yeah, Elle knew how I felt, but I needed to up my game...give her a little something to think about.

Tristan. Eric. I never wanted to hurt anyone. Maybe I should let them both go?
My stomach squeezed. Tristan. No, I couldn't leave him...not entirely. We'd always be friends, right?

Shit, why did this have to be so hard? Why couldn't life and all its distractions just fade away?

Author Bio:

Born and currently residing in Midland, Texas, Angela shuffles three busy children (not including her husband) all over the place. She works in a busy pediatric doctor's office as a nurse during the day, and writes at night. She is addicted to coffee——who isn’t? And firmly believes chocolate can fix all——especially chocolate ice cream. She laughs a lot, often at herself and is willing to try anything once (she thinks). When Angela isn’t rushing kids around, working or writing, she’s reading. Other than life experience, Angela turns to a wide variety of music to help spark her creative juices. She loves to dance and sing, though her kids often beg her not to.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
About five years ago… I’ve always LOVED telling stories, I just didn’t realize my passion until years later.

How long does it take you to write a book?
I just finished writing the second book in the Distraction series the other day… took me two months. However, Hope’s Decree took three years to write and Distraction took two years.

Writing a series, how hard is it to stay true to the characters from Book One to The End?
Not hard at all. Characters grow, so by the end you’d expect them to have changed.

How hard is it to keep track of various storylines and characters when you have more than one series being written at a time?
Not too hard, but I have my reminders just in case.

What do you think makes a great story?
Characters who see like real, everyday people. Characters you fall in love with or end up hating.

What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
I have three kids, a full-time job and husband (sometimes they can be handfuls) so I write in between dealing with regular, everyday life. Basically, whenever I get the chance.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
Usually from music or a situation familiar to me.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
How stubborn my characters can be. Like I have a plan, and most times they turn into spoiled, ungrateful children who refuse to do it my way. Ugh! So frustrating.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I’ve written three books. My favorite, all of them.

Are your characters based on anyone you know?
Some, yes.

Do you have a favorite place you love to write?
I have an office… but much to my husbands dismay, I take over the living room, and plant myself on our couch while he’s trying to watch TV.

How hard is it to get published?
So hard!

What do your family and friends think about your books?
They think it’s pretty cool, I think. If they’ve said anything negative, I probably tuned them out and made up my own stuff. lol Nah, they think it’s pretty cool.

What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Read, spend time with my family and think about working in my make-believe garden of vegetables and flowers. ;)

Do you have any suggestions to help aspiring writers better themselves and their craft? If so, what are they?
Keep writing! Yup, I’m a cliche, but the more you write the better you get. So keep at it, y’all.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
Dude, I so wanted to be a singer. I used to write my own songs. It was bad. Glad I decided to write instead. O_O

What are your favorite books and which authors inspire you?
Every author I read inspires me. Favorite books: The Vampire Academy series by Rochelle Mead, Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, The Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout, and so many more.

For an aspiring writer, what do you feel are certain do's and donts for getting their material published?
Do have people read over your work. Do hire an editor. Don’t give up.

What are you working on now?
The second book in my Fated series, Hope’s Deceit!

In one Tweet, describe the book were promoting:
A love worth fighting for. #Distraction #Heart-gripping #CollegeFootball #BestFriends

Five For Fun:
What is your favorite drink? Coffee
What is your favorite cartoon character? Tinker Bell
What is your favorite movie of all time? Gone With the Wind, Pretty in Pink
What TV shows do you like to watch? OMG! I just started watching The Outlanders… so freaking good. Jamie *sigh* (I'm sighing with you!)
What do you like to do for fun or just to relax? I actually like to clean, I’m a freak of nature. Or cook (but then hate cleaning up afterward. Told you, freak of nature) Hang out with my kiddos, Read, or really, I LOVE to sleep.
